Is Hrithik Roshan in Jailer 2?
Hrithik Roshan's reported cameo has become one of the most discussed questions surrounding the film. In June 2026, entertainment outlets including NDTV and Variety India reported that the Bollywood star was expected to appear in a special role alongside Rajinikanth.
Those reports describe a significant cameo, but the distinction between media reporting and a production-house announcement matters. The official Sun Pictures material checked for this article does not provide a formal cast confirmation naming Hrithik Roshan.
For that reason, searches such as “Hrithik Roshan in Jailer 2” should be answered carefully: the cameo has been reported, but readers should look for a direct announcement from Sun Pictures or the actor before treating every detail about the role as confirmed.
Jailer 2 Cast: Who Is Starring in the Sequel?
Rajinikanth leads the sequel, with the returning franchise's larger ensemble and several prominent names from Indian cinema. Sun Pictures' official movie page identifies Rajinikanth, Anirudh Ravichander, Nelson Dilipkumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, S. J. Suryah and Vidya Balan among the film's listed cast and crew.
Rajinikanth
Returns as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, the central character whose action-driven story continues after the original Jailer.
Nelson Dilipkumar
Returns as writer and director, guiding the sequel's story and action-comedy tone.
Anirudh Ravichander
Composes the soundtrack and score, continuing his collaboration with Rajinikanth and Nelson.
Vidya Balan
Is listed in the official Sun Pictures cast material for the sequel.
S. J. Suryah
Is included in Sun Pictures' published cast listing for Jailer 2.
Suraj Venjaramoodu
Is also named among the actors on the official production page.
Other reported cast members
Media and film-industry listings have also reported appearances by several major performers, including Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi, Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty. Their roles and the full final cast should be checked against the latest official credits and announcements.
Hrithik Roshan has likewise been reported for a cameo, but the official cast page should remain the reference point for confirmed production information.
Jailer 2 Soundtrack: Anirudh Ravichander Returns
Anirudh Ravichander is back as the music composer for Jailer 2. Sun Pictures has published official music announcements and promotional material, including the track “One Name” and the film's “Hukum” promotional identity.
The soundtrack is an important part of the film's campaign, building anticipation for Rajinikanth's return. For songs, release announcements and official audio links, use the production house's published material rather than unverified track leaks or unofficial uploads.
What about “Hukoomat” and “Hukum Tiger Ka Hukum”?
The official movie title used by Sun Pictures is Jailer 2. “Hukum Tiger Ka Hukum” appears in the film's promotional material, but the available official listing does not identify Hukoomat as an alternate title for the movie. It should therefore not be presented as the confirmed film title.
Jailer 2 Advance Booking and Ticket Prices
With the October 15 theatrical date approaching, viewers should check their local cinema listings for available shows and advance booking. Ticket prices can differ by city, cinema chain, screen format, seating category and local rules.

Are tickets already available?
Advance booking has been reported for the upcoming release, with availability varying by region and cinema. Because ticket inventory and prices change quickly, check the live booking page for your city instead of relying on a single price quoted in an older article.
Will Jailer 2 Release in Multiple Languages?
The film is an Indian theatrical release built around Rajinikanth's Tamil-language cinema audience. Viewers in other regions should check local listings for dubbed versions, subtitles and screening availability.
Although multi-language availability has been discussed in coverage of the film, the precise set of versions and their release schedules can vary by market. Confirm the language shown on the ticket page before booking.
