What to Watch in the Tri-Series

Afghanistan's spin attack: Rashid Khan and the team's wider spin options could be important on UAE surfaces where controlling the middle overs often shapes ODI matches.

Bangladesh's new leadership: Litton Das leads the ODI side into the tournament, with Towhid Hridoy named as his deputy. The series offers the team a chance to build consistency in the 50-over format.

Zimbabwe's challenge: Sikandar Raza's team will aim to convert its experience and all-round options into enough results to reach the final.

HOW QUALIFICATION WORKS: Each side plays two league games. The two teams with the strongest standings advance to the final on October 23.
